Church of Joan of Arc
Classed as a Historical Monument, this church is located in the old market square in Rouen, where Joan of Arc was burned alive. It is a contemporary church, built in 1979 as a religious tribute to the saint but also a civil memorial in honour of this famous and historical French figure.
Jacques Anquetil Chateau
This bourgeois mansion, which originally belonged to the grandfather of the writer Guy de Maupassant, is located just 10 miles from Rouen. Throughout the years, it has been the home of many famous citizens of Rouen, such as Gustave Flaubert or Guy de Maupassant himself. It was transformed into a chateau in 1874 by the architect Emile Janet and it now belongs to Jacques Anquetil.
